Delicious Peanut Butter & Banana Breakfast Smoothie

Sometimes you just don’t want to cook breakfast or you could be pressed for time. Instead of choosing not to eat (which will slow down your metabolism) or to just drink coffee, opt for this delicious smoothie! Listen, sometimes I get up and I just don’t feel like chewing (yes that might sound crazy to you but I get like that… ha!), but I’m hungry so this is a perfect go-to option of me!

Delicious Peanut Butter & Banana Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 medium banana

2 tbps. natural peanut butter

1 handful spinach or kale

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tbsp. chia seeds (optional)

1/2 cup ice

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients in a powerful blender or extractor (I use a NutriBullet) and enjoy! Add more ice as needed, blend to achieve desired consistency and serve.
